How do officers in the marines become marsoc? and do officer marsoc fight in combat?
Q. I am only 16 and i really want to join the marines. But it has also been in my interest to join a special forces team and i really want to join marsoc. How do officers in the marines become members of marsoc? And if accepted into marsoc as an officer would i fight in combat or sit behind a desk?

A. i think you have to sign up to get in Recon First, then the best from there get selected to get into MARSOC. You can't just sign up for it in the beginning, only the top Marines get to fill in the MARSOC ranks and they have to be recognized and hand selected by the Military themselves. if you can manage to do 20+ pullups, 100+ crunches in 2 min. and run 1.5 miles in 8- min. you can sign up for Recon. Great decision by the way to have chosen the best branch of the U.S. military.to have chosen to be America's Finest.and to make a difference in an elite unit to become part of a world renowned,respected and feared fighting force, to be a part of a proud brotherhood of warriors that only few will ever become, to be a United States Marine.

How do police officers identify a dead body?
Q. I'm trying to write a short story about a murder but I have no idea how police officers are suppose to identify a dead body. I think it may have to do with a missing person thing but I'm not sure. Please help.

A. There are many ways, really I'll list some for you: 1. DNA testing: take a sample from the body to test for it's DNA, see if it is close to family member's, this identifies it as the person 2. Teeth: good way to identify a badly damaged corpse because teeth are hardier than the tissue of the body and can be matched to the dental records of that person 3. Family members: if the person's body is still in decent shape, a family member can come in and identify the body 4. Hair: hair can be sampled to see if it matches. 5. Identifying body marks: family can identify using body marks, such as birth marks, defects, burns, scars, and anything else that is unique to that person. 6. A. Almost none. They can rip your car apart if they choose. They normally DON'T, but they are allowed to do so. Oh, and YOU get to put it together again. Unless they have probable cause to believe that a crime OTHER than smuggling has taken place, you can refuse a search by turning around and not attempting to cross the border. Expect your name to be forever tagged, meaning you will be searched EVERY time you cross.
