What file do I delete to get Limewire to connect to its network faster?
Q. A few months ago, my brother deleted a file and then started up Limewire again without doing anything else, but I don't remember what the file was. Do not suggest any other P2Ps, reinstalling, that my firewall's blocking it, or any website you use instead of P2Ps.

How do I file taxes from eBay income? How much do I have to have made?
Q. I actually already filed completely ignoring my ebay income but just for next year or an audit or whatever. How much do I have to make to have to file? Do I simply file as self employed? Is there any way I can create a yearly invoice from ebay or my purchases? Mostly I buy at yard sales and resell so how can I count that? Sorry this is so fragmented but thanks for the advice.

A. You just need to keep records--they don't have to be fancy or look official, they just need to be accurate. So, if you buy at a garage sale, record what you bought, for how much, and when you sell, record what you sold, for how much. Then, track your other legitimate expenses. There are excellent websites which explain what constitutes a legitimate expense. Add up all your costs (purchase prices, other expenses, ebay charges, paypal charges, shipping, whatever). Add up all your sales. The difference between these two numbers is income and is taxable, exactly as other income is taxable. You are actually self-employed, running a small business. Can married people file tax returns as single?
Q. I got married last year and we both are working. But earlier both of us mentioned as single in our W-4s. So my questions are: 1. Can we file as single now? 2. Will there be any prolblems if we file as single as we are married now? 3. What is the best option to file tax for us? Thanks in advance!

A. The IRS requires you to use your marital status on the last day of the tax year for determining your filing status. Since you are married, you have two options, Married Filing Jointly or Married Filing Seperately. Your W-4 does not affect your filing status, just the amount of withholding on your income. Typically, you will be better off if you file as MFJ.
