What are your experiences with male versus female counselors?
Q. In the past, I have always seen female counselors but I am going to try a male counselor this time. Usually when I am dealing with medical doctors, Irelate better to females because they often have a better bedside manner and I find myself able to communicate with them better. I have problems relating to men in general and I think maybe a male counselor could help me with that. Also, I am curious if there might be other positive differences in working with a male counselor. (My previous experiences with therapy were not very helpful.) What sort of experiences have you had with counselors of different genders? Right. My point is that their ability to help you may depend slightly on gender...

A. I have had both. They each have their benefits. I find that a feel closer to my female therapists. A male therapist can help you to face your insecurities about men because your interaction with him itself is sometimes the start of the challenge. I find that I can share the gory details better with a male. I experience less shame when disclosing. I have had male therapists who really helped me with some of the darkest parts of my past. It was easier for me to talk about my sexual issues with them. This may not be your experience. Let me know how it goes.

What are peoples experiences using paragard birth control?
Q. My husband and I are expecting our first child in two weeks (I can't wait!!) and I don't plan on getting pregnant again for at least 2 years. This pregnancy was planned, and before we got pregnant we always used natural family planning. But at this stage I don't want to risk getting pregnant shortly after we have our baby. I just want to know what peoples experiences are, and whether or not they would recommend it. Thanks in advance for your answers!

A. I had the Paraguard Copper IUD placed in June 2006 after my daughter was born. Never had any problems with it, always checked the strings and always found them. I missed a period in September, took two home pregnancy tests (both positive) and went to the doctor. Yep I was preggers! He removed the IUD, said the placement was still perfect. We did an ultrasound to make sure the pregnancy was not ectopic, and the baby is right where it is supposed to be. I saw the heart beating, and the ultrasound tech said there was no evidence that I ever had an IUD in the first place. They are supposed to be 99.4 % effective. I would never trust one again.

What are some quality tips for great travel experiences at a low low price on a regular basis?
Q. I like doing outdoor Experiences in and around nature. I like sleeping in comfortable beds at an affordable price. I want all my bills paid for so I can travel the world for a few years before I die of whatever I caught well travelling the world. Can you help me?
