A. I think Battle of Midway. It was the turning point of the Pacific Ocean War. After the battle Japan's position of that war was obviously changed.

What's a major battle in history in which precision timing played a key role in the winner's success?
Q. Although it looks like it, this isn't some kid looking for an answer to a homework question. I'm doing a short write-up on the importance of precise timing for a gaming strategy. A reference to a real world battle would be great. What I'm looking for is a battle where timing made the difference, where an underdog (or evenly matched) army came out on top because precise timing and placement gave them a strategic edge over their opponents. A. Start by looking for materials that resemble the general structure. A few items coming to mind are metal pipe and fittings. A "T" fitting could be the "head" while a longer pipe could be the handle. "Bondo" is available at Pep Boys, or your local automotive store, and is a strong, mildly sculptable material that works wonders for adding details. I would start with the basic shape, and then add details to finish out the design. Paint, of course, would be the final step. You can use cheap spray paint for the base color, and nicer model paint for any details. Check out your local Home Depot or building supply store for ideas, inspiration, and parts. Good Luck!
