Post Impressionism Well, that's my best guess, anyway; in the art history classes that I took, cave art and prehistoric art were considered to be the same era by the textbook, so I'm not sure about the order of those two. I put Egyptian art next because that's what I remember studying after prehistoric art--after that is definitely Greek and then Roman, since the Romans borrowed heavily from the Greeks.
