Q. Do you think it's important for people who know traditional art forms to pass their knowledge down to their children? Is this still happening?

A. I believe some people try. Native Americans made a valliant effort in the 1970s to revive their culture's heritage. With the rise of globalization, it may be difficult to engage children in what they come to view as obsolete cultural forms. But, just as knitting became a fad in the early 21st century, interest in some cultural forms may experience a revival. Ironically, the internet maybe the best way to reach those interested in their roots.
