The book is an artist's book with illustrations, there is no text whatsoever. I have the reference of the book and was planning on referencing with Untitled Image, and then the details of the book, but I'm not sure what to do about the date. IF you know the employer is checking references, the answer would be yes. Otherwise, follow up when you KNOW the references are being researched. Most companies that are contacted with a reference that no longer works there, will be told and the researcher will alert you about the situation if needed. Otherwise, most professionals that are sincere in their effort of reference checks will get the relay information for the reference to be found. I would be inclined to not follow up on this matter unless you feel the reference is very important to the evaluation.
