From Google News Search: "Recreation" What is a good website to find group recreation games that are outdoors and are fun for college students? Q. I am in charge of recreation for the Baptist Collegiate Ministries event for freshmen on the first weekend after school and I am having some trouble coming up with games that go along with our theme which is "Warrior". Can anyone give me some ideas? They can be messy games. Asked by joseph t - Tue Jul 10 15:32:46 2007 - - 1 Answers - 0 Comments A. Hmmm. "Warrior", hm? I like Cooperative Games for big groups like yours--could your warriors win by cooperating with one another? Here are sites with some ideas for you: i was a religious educator and a scout leader and these games always worked better than I expected them to. The groups liked competing against the task, instead of against one another, if you understand my meaning. They worked and played hard to beat the clock or to achieve the desired goal. Good luck to you with your warriors. Answered by LC - Wed Jul 11 21:26:47 2007 What can you do with a bachelor's degree(Career) in Recreation? Q. I'm thinking about getting a degree in recreation. I love doing things outdoors (hiking, biking, running, etc..) Are there any good jobs out there with that I can get with that kind of degree? Can I get a job outdoors that makes at least a decent amount of money? Is there tough competitetion in this field? Thanks for any help. Asked by runningirl1987 - Mon May 15 21:13:30 2006 - - 1 Answers - 0 Comments A. I think you'll have a hard time finding a job with a degree that has "Recreation" in the title. I just doubt it will carry much weight. If you're an outdoors guy, perhaps that should be the focus (as opposed to the activities you do outdoors). There are lots of outdoorsy jobs, such as Land Resources, Forestry, Fish & Wildlife Management, Geographical Information Systems (GIS), etc. I'm not sure how much they pay, but I know the government hires a lot of folks with these degrees to work in National Parks, so I'm guessing it's probably not too bad. Answered by CrazyOphelia - Tue May 16 06:55:10 2006 Why is the recreation of extinct animals bad?
Q. I have to write an essay on the recreation of extinct species. I play the role of a victim and I have to provide three points on why it is bad. any answers? Asked by Dora - Sun Apr 23 15:38:37 2006 - - 1 Answers - 0 Comments A. Extinct species, if not extinct by human activity (shooting them, cutting their forests down, etc.), have extinct for a reason - they did not fit well to the enviournment. Recreation of such species may destabilize the delicate balance of nature. Moreover, any human interferance with nature, whether trying to do good or bad, can only harm it. There are two (1.5) reasons. I think you can start with these, and probably the rest will come to mind after writing this. If not, I believe that other people will have further ideas. Good luck!
